Directions From the M6

Leaving the M6 at exit 27 (Parbold / Standish) follow the A5209 directly off the motorway towards Parbold. Remain on the A5209 for approximately 7 miles, passing through a number of small villages on route, (Wrightington, Parbold, Newburgh, Lathom) through to the A59. Turn left onto the A59 in the direction of Liverpool, and after approximately ¾ of a mile turn left into Abbey Lane. A well known local public house, the Bull and Dog Inn is situated directly opposite Abbey lane, and is an excellent land mark

From Liverpool

At the end of the M57, Switch Island, follow the A59 in the direction of Preston. Remain on the A59 for approximately 7 miles to the town of Ormskirk. A good landmark at this point is the Fire Station, situated on the approach roundabout to the town. From the roundabout continue on the A59 for approximately two miles following the signs for Preston. As you leave the de-restricted stretch of road on the outskirts of Burscough town, the Beaufort Hotel is located on the left hand side. Abbey Lane is the next right after the Beaufort Hotel.
